As it is getting close to Christmas a few of you are maybe panicking that you can't think of anything to get your horsey best friend or a family member who is into horses. So I have decided to put this blog together as some last minute ideas of what you can get them if you are struggling. I will be going from the cheapest product to the most expensive so that it is easier for you to find your price range.
1) Mark Todd Ear Warmer

The first product I will be reviewing is the Mark Todd fleece ear warmer in navy from the Mark Todd Collection.
This ear warmer is a great fit and doesn't move when being worn. It keeps my ears really warm on cold winter mornings and nights at the yard and is made of a really soft material that is perfectly machine washable. This product is very simplistic as the only thing displayed on the band is the logo which is placed at the front in the colour stitching of the band making it fit nicely into the band and not look too showy.
Sizing: This product is one size fits all and has an elasticated section at the back to ensure it fits to all head sizes.
Colours: Navy, Blue, Royal, Black, Purple, Orange, Pink, Red, Jade, Chocolate, Burgundy and Fuchsia
Price: This product typically retails between £3 - £8
This product can be found on lots of websites e.g. Amazon.
2) Mark Todd Gloves

This product is the Mark Todd gloves in navy from the Mark Todd Collection.
These gloves are highly durable and perfect for competitions due to them being so simplistic and smart. They do not have grips but instead have a smart faux leather material which offers grip and stops them from slipping through your hands. They have a elasticated band around the wrist which fits all wrist sizes. Finally they do up through Velcro over the top of the hand which displays the logo, which like the ear warmer is in the same colour stitching as the glove so keeps its smart look.
I personally use these gloves for competition purposes due to them matching well with my cross country colours and show jumping and dressage outfit. However these gloves can still be used for everyday training and riding at the yard.
Sizing: X Small - X Large
Colours: Navy, Black, White and Brown
Price: This product typically retails between £10 - £12
This product can be found on many websites e.g. Equine Essentials Direct
3) Arion Equestrian Grey Silicone Jodhpurs

The next product I am going to be reviewing are the Arion Grey Silicone Jodhpurs from Arion Equestrian.
These Jodhpurs are some of the comfiest I have ever worn they are made of a durable cotton fabric and elastane blended fabric for breathable movement in the saddle. This material is also a stain prevention and easy wash material to help avoid those mystery stains that always seem to appear when you are on the yard.
On the knees they have silicone grip technology to help reach ideal leg positioning when riding and two zip up pockets for any extra things you may need to carry. Hint: maybe a couple of treats for you horse after a ride.
Sizing: UK size 4 - 16.
Price: These products retail for £25
PLEASE NOTE: I am only reviewing the grey jodhpurs but they do come in a range of other colours as well just check out the Arion website:

4) Aztec Diamond Hoodie

The next product I am reviewing is the Aztec Diamond Equestrian Pink Full Zip Hoodie from Aztec Diamond Equestrian.
This hoodie is extremely durable and very comfy and warm even in the snow! The hoodie is finished with silver zip pockets on the front which have enough room for essentials like your phone and treats for your pony, a large logo print added to the top back panel in the same colour as the hoodie which helps keep the smart look of the hoodie, stretch cuffs, a wide flat waist band and a roomy hood. It also has a full zip opening at the front for easy removal and comfort, as well as other branded embellishments and unique panelling detail.
All of these hoodies come in either full zip or half zip and also have matching sweatpants. This hoodie is from the older collection of hoodies but are still completely available on the Aztec Diamond website.
Sizing: XS - XL
Colours: I am only reviewing the pink hoodie but this hoodie also comes in: Pink, Black, Beige and Grey.

Also the new collection of hoodies come in: Burgundy, Grey and Black.
Price: This hoodie retails for £45 and the half zip hoodies retail for £30 and both of the new collection hoodies retail for £45
These hoodies can be found on the Aztec Diamond Equestrian website:

5) Joules Polo Shirts

The next products I am reviewing are Joules polo shirts. I personally have three polo shirts from Joules and these are: Badminton Horse Trials 2016 polo shirt, Badminton Horse Trials 2017 polo shirt and Burghley Horse Trials 2017 polo shirt.
Joules have a lot of polo shirts that you are able to choose from and they are all high quality and are made of a highly durable and soft material. These polo shirts are smart and are perfect for days down the yard or going out to horse events.
PLEASE NOTE: not all polo shirts from Joules are as expensive as these three but I have placed these here due to the price they retail for.
Sizes: UK size 6 - 20
Colours: only the colours shown are the colours they come in (different for men)
Price: These three retail for £50 due to them being part of these collections

These products can be found on the Joules websites or in store.

PLEASE NOTE: I have had a few issues with the white colouring of the polo shirt as when we washed the polo shirt (we even did it on a lower temperature to what was recommended) we found that the blue from the collar and the sash leaked into the white of the polo shirt. We got in contact with Joules and we returned the polo in which they said they would return a new polo shirt. However they did not have any polo's left in my size so instead returned it in a size bigger which I do not mind as it means I have room to grow. Since we got the new polo we have not washed it yet due to me not wearing it as we are in winter so am wearing hoodies and coats and if I am wearing polo it is my blue Badminton one. After talking to a few other people who also purchased the polo I found that they had also had the same issues with the colours after washing it. So therefore this has made me cautious of washing the shirt as I do still love the design and don't want to ruin it which has sadly led to me not wearing it.
However due to the washing issues we have decided to hand wash the polo and see whether that turns out better as the colours should hopefully not run.
Overall I would say if you like the look of the white polo shirts from Joules go for it as they are really nice polo shirts! But be prepared to have to hand wash it or return it. If you are not looking to go through the effort to keep these colour polo shirts maybe look into other colours like the sky blue or pink as I have never had a problem with these polo's and they get used nearly every week!
6) Mark Todd Jana Hoodie

The next product I am reviewing is the Mark Todd Jana Hoodie from the Mark Todd Italian Collection.
This hoodie is a comfortable cotton zip hoodie with a cosy fleece lining that will help keep you warm in the winter months. This hoodie has a stretch fabric built which gives it a heavy feel when not being worn but once it is on, fits close and like a second skin. It has two zip pockets which work for all phone sizes and also helps fit in other essentials. It also has two hood ties and the Mark Todd signature across the chest.
Sizing: XS - XL
Colours: Grey, Burgundy, Navy and Navy with Sky Blue
Price: This hoodie usually retails for £50
I am aware that part of the stitching has come loose on mine but this is just due to the great use it goes through and can be fixed easily, so don't let this put you off this amazing product.
I personally use this product for general use in public and to also cover my competition clothes before a competition due to the high neck which helps cover ties and shirt collars.
This product can be found on many websites e.g. Viovet
7) Custom XC Cross Country Colours

Next I will be reviewing the Custom XC cross country colours from Custom XC.
These cross country colours are completely customisable and fit perfectly! They stop you from getting too hot around a course and keep you at the ideal temperature even in winter. They allow you to have as much or as little decoration as you want on them and allow you to decide the shapes and writing you have on them and also allow you to have a matching hat silk if you want it. They also allow a wide range of colours and are overall amazing products which are perfect for all eventers out there.
Sizing: XS - XXL
Colours: Completely up to you
Prices: It completely depends on how much or little you have on them but a general design is around £60.
You can get these products off the Custom XC website:
http://www.custom-xc.com/
Thank you for reading this blog and I hoped it helped you find some products for your family and friends or for yourself. Remember there are plenty of alternatives out there which I haven't tried so don't think that these are the best but personally after trying these products I would not want to try others as I have been completely satisfied with them and I am now interested in buying more products from these brands due to these great experiences I have had with their products.
